This pattern requires the expert skill and talent of an experienced quilter because of the need for perfect interlocking circles. The circles generally interlace, which creates another dimension to the quilt.

An interesting thing to note is that the Amish do not believe in wearing jewelry. They do not exchange rings with their wedding vows. However, though no rings are exchanged to symbolize their commitment, marriage is a very sacred commitment to the Amish. As the name implies, this is a popular quilt to be given as a wedding gift. This is a truly gorgeous quilt!
