If you're looking for a unique piece of furniture or decoration but still want a sense of warmth and welcome, our Cottage Collection is for you. This special collection of handcrafted pine furniture is built by an Amish craftsman and finished by a family business that has been in operation for nearly two decades. All the products are handcrafted from a blend of antique and new 'rough' materials to create a timeworn look. The antique materials are recycled from old barns and farmhouses. They are carefully selected for strength and durability, then treated, planed, and sanded in order to recover their original beauty. Because each piece is hand made from start to finish, no two pieces are identical. Please expect slight variances that exemplify the creativity in the process that makes every piece unique.

This collection includes hutches, cabinets, chests, end tables, entertainment centers, dressers and decorative shutters and panels, as well as numerous other unique pieces. The painting or carving that decorates this furniture portrays fish, flowers, herbs, animals and many other choices. This is completed by hand without using any machines. From this collection, you can select a theme of choice and pick from numerous decorations or furniture to fill a room unlike any other.

Custom Painting

Custom painting is available for all products. The following colors are available: country red, deep burgundy, federal blue, wickham green, concord green, sage green, cream, country white, bright white, khaki, pale yellow, mushroom and mustard. After they are painted, all products are distressed and then hand-rubbed with a finish wax for maximum protection. All hardware in the Cottage Collection is antique.

Care
Please do not use any furniture polish on these pieces because it will ruin the wax finish. Just wipe the furniture with a dust rag. If dirty, just use little water.

Amish Furniture Delivered with Care

The furniture in our Cottage Collection is handcrafted and stained after your order is placed. Normally this takes about 8-12 weeks to complete.

Shipping can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks following that. Our American furniture is shipped with carefully selected companies that we have worked with over the years. These companies score high on their customer service and their care of the fine furniture they handle. They either blanket-wrap the furniture or shrink wrap and box it. In either case, the furniture is fully protected and insured.

Most of our furniture is shipped by PackShip USA, a small company that specializes in shipping Amish furniture. Other shippers include small, independent companies that we've grown to know and trust to handle our furniture over the years.

Please read the shipping information on our Terms & Conditions page for details on the delivery of our solid wood furniture. Our standard delivery is “curbside", meaning the driver isn't responsible to take the furniture into your home. Generally there is only one driver, and he will require your help unloading your heirloom furniture.

Furniture from our Cottage Collection ships from a small hillside shop in Pennsylvania. Each piece is inspected before it leaves the shop!
